Kadence and I counted all the stars in the sky tonight!

You'll NEVER guess how many there were!

"ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN!"

"TWO STARS!"

Yep...there were 2 stars in the sky =o)

Diamond Kids 2010

Another year, another successful Diamond Kid event.

I began volunteering with DK in 2009 when my nephew Ethan was chosen as the Diamond Kid Angel for that year.  All proceeds collected for charity went to the Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas in his name.  This year they brought me back as the charity director.  Our 2010 DK Angel was Three Square, a local food bank here in town.  It's pretty simple how it works...All athletes are to bring $2 or 2 wish list items as a "parking fee" and all monies and food collected are donated.  I can't begin to tell you how wonderful our Diamond Kids are or their parents.  Both 2009 and 2010 proved very successful.  It makes me proud to work with great people in a great community for a great cause.  I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked.  Here are just a few.

It  was over 100* out there that morning.
So here we are relaxing with a snow cone after...

under my favorite Blue Diamond tree...

with my 2 favorite girls....

Special shout out to:
Dom & Keith for lending Sunset Racing equipment for the event
Dave, Kelly, Tom, Aimee and Terry for helping me with parking and collecting.

Bye Bye bassinet

I'm amazed at just how fast these past 3 months have flown by.  It saddens me to think that this is possibly the last time I'll have a baby in the bassinet.  Yes, if it were up to only me, we'd have one more despite the fact I really dislike pregnancy.  If ever it were to happen, it wouldn't happen for awhile.  I must enjoy all these precious tiny moments in case they are my last, in case #3 is not in the cards.

The Guinto's MEMORABLE Memorial weekend.  Here's a bit of what we did...

Friday

Friday night started off with a MUCH NEEDED date night for Dom and I.  So we splurged just a bit and had a fabulous night on the town.  It was our first time leaving Zoe with a sitter and she did great.  Thank you Halee for being kind enough to hang with our munchkins for an evening!

Saturday

Saturday was a fun filled day of friends, bbqing, slip n' sliding, and UFC.

Sunday

Dom woke up and went for a bike ride Sunday and we spent
church  listening to Reggae up on Mt. Charleston with some more wonderful friends.  It was a gorgeous day and a nice break from the norm.

Dancing Queens!
The girls had a blast and every one watching did too.

Riding in style.

Monday

Monday we hung out at home, just the 4 (or 6) of us.  More bbqing, lounging by the pool, swimming, bubbles, yard work, some Bob Seiger and Summer Shandy.  What a fabulous weekend.  Even Dom was able to relax...that's saying something =o)
